Developed a system to identify specific work activities by department, forecast relative volumes and unit costs, and quantify the workload in man hours. Developed and implemented Master Schedule, monthly and weekly work plans. Installed work order and preventive maintenance schedule. Facilitated reorganization of smaller shops and created Mechanical Services department to support car and locomotive repair.
